HAY, how art you? My bullet journal theme for the month is Forest, featuring trees, birds, and other nature elements. I had fun making tiny paper trees on all the spreads using green papers and brown washi tape. If you enjoy nature-inspired themes, keep scrolling to check out my September plan with me bujo pages!

The cover page features a tiny forest world made with kraft paper, tree and bird stickers, and vellum paper clouds. I created one of the trees (the one in the centre) by using a hole puncher to punch green paper circles and pasting them together on a strip of brown washi tape. I think the colours and layout turned out lovely on this cover page!
The quote, which I discovered on Pinterest, was stamped on kraft paper and pasted on the quote page. The forest-print washi tape is one of the elements from September’s Forest Calm theme free printable. You can find the download link at the end of this article.Â
I really love a full page calendar for the monthly log layout! Besides the calendar, I added sections for setting the month’s intentions and priorities at the side panel. Also, I couldn’t pass up the chance to make a tiny forest to fill up the empty space at the bottom of the spread. It might just be my favourite part of all the spreads for this theme!
The first weekly spread features a vertical layout with sections on top for writing the week’s to-dos and things I am grateful for. I used a collage (out in the woods) from my free printable and layered it with vellum paper clouds to create a whimsical look. Also, isn’t that little bird at the corner just so precious?
This month’s free printable features three forest collages, three nature-inspired quote cards and two faux washi tape strips. I have also included the option to purchase the individual PNG files if you wish to use them digitally.
As always, feel free to tag me on Instagram (@hay.studio) if you share any of your creations that contain my free printables; I would love to see them. Happy journaling!
