I picked out a personalised A5 dot grid notebook, and I plan to use it as my 2025 bullet journal. This is the A5 Constellation Dot Grid Bullet Journal, and each Zodiac has a different linen cover colour. I’m so happy that my Zodiac, Cancer, comes in this beautiful neutral beige!Â
Here are the bullet journal’s features:
For my second notebook choice, I went with the A6 Foliage Dot Grid Notebook. I love the soft blue colour of the vegan cover, together with the gold foil foliage prints. It is also a relatively small sized notebook that seems great for travels, on-the-go, and quick journaling!
Here are the features of this A6 notebook:
The 160gsm paper held up well against all the stationery I tested! I started off with pens and fountain pens. The writing experience was really smooth, and none of the ink bled through or feathered.
Then, I tried using some brush pens on the page. No ghosting or feathering issues occured and they all dried pretty quickly.Â
Next, I tested some ink pads and made sure that the stamp was coated with lots of ink. There were no ink bleeding through at all, and all the ink pads dried fast on this notebook paper.Â
Lastly, I challenged the notebook with watercolour. Warping of the paper occurred when the paint was too watery, and it was difficult to dry. However, it seems like watercolour can be a feasible medium if the paint is not too watery.Â
All in all, I am really impressed with the butter smooth paper and how it held up against all the stationery test!
