March Bujo Setup 2025 - Japan Theme (Free Printable!)
HAY, how art you? As someone who has always been captivated by Japan’s enchanting blend of tradition and modernity, creating my March bujo setup 2025 was a delightful journey into Japanese aesthetics. This month’s theme celebrates the Land of the Rising Sun with whimsical illustrations that capture the essence of Japanese culture. What I love most about it is the Japanese’s ability to find beauty in simplicity and meaning in everyday moments. This philosophy of mindfulness and attention to detail perfectly aligns with the purpose of bullet journaling – to create order and intention in our daily lives while celebrating creativity. Without further ado, let me walk you through my March bujo setup!

March Bujo Setup: Cover Page
The cover page features hand-drawn whimsical Japanese elements from my “Konnichiwa!” free printable. You can find the download link at the end of this article. I wrote the monthly header in Japanese on kraft paper and pasted it at the centre of the page. Besides the DIY stickers, I wrote the names of the elements in Japanese and filled up the remaining spaces with fabric paper dots and random doodles.Â
I picked a Japanese proverb for the quote page and I love how simple and down-to-earth the phrase is. Keeping the page minimal, I pasted the ephemera papers with Japanese text to frame the quote top and bottom.Â
March Bujo Setup: Monthly Log
For the monthly log, I set up a simple calendar to keep track of the month’s events. I also created two sections on the right to set the month’s intentions and to-do list.Â
March Bujo Setup: Weekly Spread 1
March’s first weekly spread features a simple horizontal layout with a decorated centre panel. Kraft papers and ephemera papers were layered for the base, and I added various stickers, fabric papers and labels to finish the spread.Â
