HAY, how art you? As we approach the final month of 2024, I’m thrilled to share with you my December bullet journal setup featuring a whimsical vintage dragonfly theme. There’s something magical about dragonflies that perfectly captures the reflective mood of year-end – their delicate wings remind us of transformation and grace as we look back on the memories we’ve created this year. If you enjoy vintage scrapbook-ish journal spreads, keep scrolling to check out my December plan with me bujo pages!

The cover page features a jar card which I picked out from a sticker pack’s packaging. I have been wanting to use these gilded dragonfly PET stickers for a while, and they are perfect for this month’s theme! Kraft paper, pearl stickers and cream-coloured paper elements are incorporated to create that vintage style which I love.Â
For the quote page, I picked this quote from Atticus, which is a pretty apt quote for wrapping up the year. To frame the quote, I made a simple border by pasting stickers and pearls, and connecting the elements with a simple dotted line.Â
To save some time on setting up, I went for a minimal vertical layout for the monthly log. It is a really simple layout to make if you do not have much time to set up your journal. For the page on the right, I created sections for setting the month’s intentions and weekly focuses. Then, I filled up the rest of the space with a simple collage.
As I was running out of pages in my bullet journal, I made single-page weeklies for this month. It is refreshing to make these single-page weeklies and I find them easier to fill up than double-page ones! Maybe I would try making more of these next year.Â
It was fun to change up the layouts for the second weekly spread. The one for week three is probably my favourite as I love the asymmetrical look.Â
