HAY, how art you? Welcome to my May bullet journal setup! This month, I’m excited to share a whimsical vintage mushroom theme. Drawing inspiration from retro botanical illustrations, I’ve created cosy spreads adorned with mushroom collages in warm, earthy tones that bring a touch of woodland charm to my planning pages. After a recent Japan trip and a huge stationery haul from Journalsay, I am guilty to say that my stationery stash is growing at an unhealthy rate. My poor sticker storage folder is bursting, hence I set out to use up more of my sticker and paper supplies with this month’s setup.Â
I collaged a bunch of stickers to create the mushrooms theme cover page. The addition of the star and ribbon stickers add a touch of whimsy and personality. To balance the layout, I stamped a quote at the bottom left page and made a small collage on the opposite page corner.Â
Â
I went with a big calendar layout covering nearly both pages for the monthly log spread. As usual, I made two sections for setting the month’s intentions and to-do list. So addicted to using the mini alphabet stickers for neat headers that stand out!
This weekly spread layout is my go-to whenever I feel uninspired or lazy to think up a new layout. I love to make little collages to fill up the empty areas around each daily section.
This free printable celebrates the whimsical world of mushrooms with a “Shrooms Magic” theme. Featuring vintage botanical illustrations of various fungi, each one of them is elegantly framed to add a touch of naturalist charm to your journaling practice. Complemented by inspirational quotes about growth, resilience, and embracing life’s wild beauty, this journaling set is perfect for nature lovers and those who appreciate vintage botanical art.
The option of purchasing the individual PNG files is available if you wish to use them digitally.Â
As always, feel free to tag me on Instagram (@hay.studio) if you share any of your creations that contain my free printables; I would love to see them. Happy journaling!
