HAY, how art you? It is a brand new year and I am looking forward to another year of creative bullet journaling. Do you feel the same way? I am kicking off 2024 with a vintage-inspired Birdsong theme. Since this month’s theme is Birdsong, I thought the music score ephemera papers are very suitable. I torn a piece diagonally and pasted them separately for the cover page. Then, I added stamps of birds flying between the papers. I love how it turned out! To add some sparkle, I pasted glittery star stickers around the birds.Â
I came across this Erin Hanson quote on Pinterest and chose it instantly. It’s a tad long though, and I spent quite some time stamping it on the page. The page corners were decorated minimally to match the cover page.Â
It has been a while since I made a monthly log page, and I missed it! I went for this minimal layout with the section on left for personal events, and work events on the right.Â
To balance the minimal page on the left, the intentions page is more scrapbook-y with lots of torn papers and decorations. On top, I pasted a piece of brown paper for setting the month’s intentions. Below, I made a section for setting a focus for each week, and decorated the remaining area with a short quote.Â
I used a simple horizontal layout for the first weekly spread, and stamped letters to represent the daily sections. The remaining sections were decorated with collages, using the same materials as the previous spreads. On the right, I pasted a quote cutout from my Birdsong printable, and added a section for setting the week’s priorities.Â
This month’s free journaling printable is vintage-inspired. I especially love the bird-shaped ephemera, and the vintage bird illustrations!Â
