HAY, how art you? Welcome back to my monthly bullet journal setup series. For August, I went for a dreamy “Garden Library” theme, blending together two of my favourite aesthetic worlds. The setup evokes a cosy ambience of a lazy summer afternoon spent reading in a secret garden. Whether you’re a bookworm, a garden enthusiast, or simply appreciate a touch of nostalgic whimsy in your planning, hope you will find my August bujo setup 2025 a delight!

This month, I went for a simple collage for the cover page, featuring a circular kraft paper as the background. I used stickers from The Washi Tape Shop’s Cozy Hour set, which partly inspired this theme!Â
Was browsing Pinterest for garden-related quotes and this one stopped me in my tracks! The quote is perfectly apt for this month’s theme. Also I love a brand new ink pad – that jet black ink is so gorgeous and satisfying.
I stuck to my usual monthly log layout featuring a large boxed calendar. Honestly, I used to find drawing the boxes a hassle but I’ve really grown to love this look! For the remaining space, I pasted papers to create sections for setting the month’s intentions and to-do list.Â
To kickstart August, I went for my favourite weekly spread layout. It is always a lot of fun to make little squarish collages to fill up the spaces around the daily sections.Â
Bring the tranquility of a lush garden into your journaling and scrapbooking projects! This Garden Library printable is a blooming collection of beautiful garden quotes and framed watercolour paintings in delicate pastel hues. Perfect for documenting summer memories, creating nature-themed spreads, or adding a touch of floral charm to any craft project. Individual PNG files are available for purchase for digital usage.
As always, feel free to tag me on Instagram (@hay.studio) if you share any of your creations that contain my free printables; I would love to see them. Happy journaling!
